To all MCB Graduate Students: It's time to determine the recipient of the Pharmacia MCB Graduate Prize (I5170) for 2024. This award of $750 is presented to an MSc or PhD Graduate Student in the MCB Program who has presented the best poster at a scientific meeting during the academic year.

Come support our student researchers as they present their research at the College of Biological Science Undergraduate Student Poster Day on Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Science Complex Waasamowin (atrium). The event will include poster presentations from undergraduate students participating in summer research projects in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Integrative Biology, and Human Health and Nutritional Sciences. Lunch will be provided.

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the inaugural BIO² Symposium at the University of Guelph, taking place on Thursday, Aug. 8! Register by July 24 for this free symposium by completing the registration form.

This panel event will feature recent alumni who have been accepted into competitive professional schools for fall 2024. They will share their personal and educational journeys including how they planned their academic and experience profiles during their undergrad, how they prepared for standardized tests (i.e. MCAT, CASPer), how they put together successful application packages, and how they prepared for their interviews.
