Lana El Osta, M.Sc. candidate in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, will defend her thesis on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 9:30 am in SSC 2315.    Lana is co-advised by Drs. Matt Kimber and Joe Lam.  Thesis Title:  Biochemical characterization of the putative glucosyltransferase, WapB, which acts on the uncapped core OS of P. aeruginosa All interested members of the university community are welcome to attend. The 2018 CBS undergraduate summer student poster symposium will be held on Tuesday, August 14th in the Science Complex Atrium.  As in previous years, this is open to all summer students (USRA, URA, co-op, etc) - it is an informal opportunity for these students to interact with faculty, staff, graduate students and other undergraduates, and to share their summer research experiences.  There will be two poster sessions followed by a prize draw and pizza lunch for participants. 

The Master of Biotechnology students will present their final research posters on Monday August 13th in the Atrium between 10am - noon.
