Dr. Chris Meyer - laboratory coordinator and self-professed plant geek - manages all aspects of botany teaching labs in MCB. His deep understanding of plants was initiated at the University of Waterloo, and has been shared with students at Wilfrid Laurier and Brock Universities, as well as in Germany and China. He joined the University of Guelph in 2013, where he continues to pique students' botanical curiosities with pragmatic hands-on experiences and inquiry-based learning.

When not inspiring students, Dr. Meyer can be found communing with plants in the Phytotron greenhouses and in his home gardens, or bicycling around Guelph in search of craft beer and coffee.
