Let the games begin! This January marked the first time U of G undergraduate commerce students entered Les Jeux du Commerce Central (the commerce games), an interuniversity competition for commerce students that was hosted this year by Carleton University in Ottawa. Co-operative Education and Career Services has announced the winners of the University’s 2011 Co-op Awards.
Fourth-year student Christina Lippa is Co-op Student of the Year in commerce and marketing management.
These awards recognize a range of student achievements, including job and academic performance and contributions to employer, co-operative education and the community at large. Winners receive $500, a certificate and their name on an awards plaque.

Jill Magnussen is an undergraduate student at the University of Guelph in the Marketing Management Co-op program. Jill received the Rotary Trillium Award for Workterm Excellence in 2011.
