claripalpis (van der Wulp, 1895).– Neotropical; introduced and established in Florida (S&A, 1965).
– Sarcophaga claripalpis van der Wulp, 1895: 268 (in key; full description in a subsequent fascicle, van der Wulp, 1896: 280). Type data: syntypes, 1 male and 4 females (BMNH). Type localities: Mexico, Guerrero (Chilpancingo at 4600 feet) and northern Yucatán.

monohammi (Townsend, 1912).– Maine to Georgia, also Minnesota (S&A, 1965).
– Eutheresia monohammi Townsend, 1912b: 117. Type data: holotype female (USNM). Type locality: USA, Georgia. Type host: Monochamus notatus (Drury) [published as Monochamus confusor Kirby (genus spelled Monohammus by Townsend, in error)], Cerambycidae.

rutilans (Fabricius, 1781).– Nebraska and Kansas to Maine, south to Florida, also New Mexico (S&A, 1965).

Type data: holotype, sex unknown (ZMUC) (Townsend, 1931a: 102, did not locate type in ZMUK or ZMUC; Townsend, 1938: 405, cited "Ht male" in NHMW, in error; only a wing remaining according to Zimsen, 1964: 487; originally in ZMUK). Type locality: USA, "American Islands and probably those of the South Carolina and Georgia coast" according to Townsend, 1938: 405; West Indies according to Thompson & Pont, 1993: 117.
– Theresia tandrec Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830: 326. Type data: holotype male (originally in MNHN but lost according to Townsend, 1931a: 102). Type locality: USA, "Carolina."
– Musca valida Wiedemann, 1830: 387. Type data: holotype female (NHMW). Type locality: unknown (South Carolina according to Townsend, 1931a: 102).
– Sardiocera valida Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1889: 167 (also 1890: 99). Type data: lectotype female (NHMW), by fixation of Townsend, 1938: 405 (mention of "Ht female" is regarded as a lectotype fixation). Type locality: USA, South Carolina.
– Myocera ruficornis Bigot, 1889: 266. Type data: holotype female (BMNH). Type locality: USA, Maryland, Baltimore.
– Phorostoma melanogaster Bigot, 1889: 269. Type data: holotype female (BMNH). Type locality: USA, New York.
