– Hemyda aurata Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830: 226. Type data: holotype, sex unknown ("Ht" in MNHN or lost according to Townsend, 1938: 120). Type locality: USA, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
– Hemyda latipennis Curran, 1924b: 252. Type data: holotype male (CNC). Type locality: Canada, Manitoba, Aweme.
