Genus Townsendiellomyia Baranov, 1932

TOWNSENDIELLOMYIA Baranov, 1932: 73 (first introduced as a subgenus of Sturmia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830). Type species: Zygobothria nidicola Townsend, 1908, by original designation.


nidicola (Townsend, 1908).– Europe; introduced and established in New England (S&A, 1965).
– Zygobothria nidicola Townsend, 1908: 99. Type data: syntypes, 1 male and 1 female (USNM). Type localities: Austria, Nieder-Oesterreich, and "Central Europe." Type host: Euproctis chrysorrhoea (Linnaeus), Lymantriidae.
