No Sugar Peach Smoothie

A peach smoothie sits on a table.

Ingredients

  • 1 Niagara grown peach (6-8 slices)
  • water or milk
  • agave syrup
  • cardamom powder

Directions

In a blender add frozen Niagara grown peach slices, add water or milk just above the slices, some agave syrup, a pinch of cardamom powder and blend well. Enjoy the smoothie!

OAC Dean's Office staff tried this for themselves and offered up a few suggestions:

  • Peach season is from August to October, so freeze your Niagara grown peaches to enjoy this treat year round
  • For those of you that really enjoy cardamom, use a generous pinch  
  • Have a bit of a sweet tooth? Use 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
  • Blend in a few mint leaves to add an extra burst of freshness
