Why study equine management and care at U of G?

Available Programs:

Equine Management Degree: Horses + Science + Business - Combine horse biology, physiology and behaviour with marketing and managerial skills to secure a career in the equine industry. Equine Management is a major of the Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management and is an excellent foundational program for pursing veterinary studies. Co-op available. 

Equine Care and Management Diploma: Learn about horse behaviour, nutrition, handling, health, management, performance, and business. The 2-year Associate Diploma in Equine Care and Management is offered at the U of G's Ridgetown Campus. Co-op available. 


Virtual Program Information Night:

Grade 11 and 12 students are invited to participate in a unique opportunity to learn about equine programs, including:

This event will include a program presentation and panel including current students, recent alumni, and faculty to answer all your questions.

Registrants will receive a package including a University of Guelph viewbook, program brochure, and swag.

Parents/guardians, teachers, and guidance counselors are encouraged to attend.
