Summary: 

Ken McEwan is a retired College Research Professor and Director of the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus. His teaching and research focused on applied economics related to farm and agribusiness management. His specialty areas included: competitiveness of the Canadian swine industry, agricultural input pricing, farm benchmarking and market hog pricing.

Ken has collaborated on provincial, national, and international projects with results shared in peer-reviewed journals, public press articles, and industry conferences throughout Ontario and North America. He has been an expert witness at agricultural hearings (e.g. US Congressional Hearing) and a member of numerous provincial and national pork missions to Europe, Japan and China.
