Minimally Invasive Procedures
The Minimally Invasive Procedures program offers cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic options to companion animals and equine patients from vascular stenting to laser-assisted and camera-guided surgery to high-intensity focused ulstrasound (HIFU) and procedures that block the flow of blood to cancerous tumours or deliver targeted doses of chemotherapy.
OVC has been offering minimally invasive procedures for more than a decade. The program will provide opportunities to develop new techniques that not only benefit animal patients but humans as well.
