Student Life and Career Services is dedicated to helping students through the transitions they make from orientation to graduation and beyond. The University of Guelph is the only university in Canada to offer this range of integrated programs and services in one department.

The Student Life unit offers programs and services to help students with the transition to university life and study and to help students get involved, develop skills, explore their leadership potential, and prepare for life beyond university.

The Career Services unit helps students explore their academic and career direction, develop skills for employment, search for jobs, and succeed in the transition to the world of work. Career Services also provides on-campus access to a wide and varied range of employment opportunities and information on opportunities for further study.

Student Life and Career Services operates the Connection Centre, a general information and referral centre for all students located on Level 3 of the University Centre.
