IV. Admission InformationCo-operative Education ProgramStudents will be considered for admission to semester one of the Co-operative Education program upon completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, including six OACs, grade 12 U and/or grade 12 U or 12M courses (or equivalent). Normally, an average of 70% is the minimum required for consideration, but higher averages may be required for admission to individual programs where the demand for places by qualified applicants exceeds the supply of places. Applicants to the Co-operative Education programs must have Permanent Resident status in Canada or be a Canadian citizen. Applicants who are U.S. citizens should contact Co-operative Education Services. Specific subject requirements for admission to the various degree programs are outlined following this section. In some cases, applicants may be required to submit a Background Information Sheet in support of their application. If a Background Information Sheet is required, Admission Services will forward the form directly to the applicant upon receipt of the application. Applicants who are refused admission to Co-operative Education will be considered for admission to the comparable regular degree program. Please refer to Co-operative Education Programs in Section X for further information. |
