Co-operative Education & Career Services
Co-operative Education & Career Services provides a variety of services to students and alumni. Don't wait until you graduate to find out how we might help you achieve your career goals.
Co-op students enrich their classroom learning with practical on the job experience. You can "test drive" careers, develop valuable industry contacts, build your skills portfolio and graduate with relevant work experience. We are there every step of the way. You will have a Co-op Co-ordinator and Faculty Advisor who will assist you during the employment process and throughout each of your work term experiences. Prior to your first work term, you will take COOP*1000, a mandatory non-credit course that will prepare you for your work experience.
All students need to learn how to manage their careers and successfully transition to the workplace or further studies. We can help you make informed choices about your career options and help you build the silks you need. Whether you're in first year or ready to graduate, we have workshops and events suited to you.
