Diversity and Human Rights

The Office of Diversity and Human Rights (DHR) is a welcoming, safe, and confidential resource for staff, students and faculty seeking information, training and support on issues relating to diversity, inclusion, equity, and human rights.
In accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code, Tthe University of Guelph’s Human Rights Policy and Procedures prohibit harassment or discrimination on the basis of: race, colour, ancestry, place of origin (where you were born), ethnic background, citizenship, creed (religion), sex (including pregnancy), disability, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, age, marital status, and family status. In some cases, discrimination includes unfair treatment on the basis of the receipt of public assistance or a pardoned criminal offense.
