Next Steps for WebAdvisor

As we approach the end of the academic year, we are working towards launching a new landing page for WebAdvisor. We are happy to announce what will be changing in the new academic year and why it’s important to you. The freshly revamped WebAdvisor landing page is being designed to help students, faculty and staff navigate the page quickly and efficiently. It will allow them to easily locate the information that is most important to them.

Just as we previously overhauled the course selection section of WebAdvisor with the Student Planning tool to make the process more stress-free and streamlined, we are continuing to pursue this goal for other areas of WebAdvisor. The newly refreshed WebAdvisor landing page will have a modernized layout and style with a simple-to-use interface that greatly improves users’ experience when locating information and valuable help resources (e.g., FAQs).

WebAdvisor has been optimized to be mobile-friendly and completely accessible for all users. When arriving on the new WebAdvisor landing page, students will be able to filter the announcements by expanding the updates that are relevant to them and their campus while minimizing the clutter of announcements that don't apply to them.

We will also be increasing the level of integration of WebAdvisor with other University services and platforms by enabling Single Sign-On. Already logged into Gryph Mail or CourseLink? No need to enter your central login username and password to access WebAdvisor! We are extremely excited for you all to enjoy the introduction of Single Sign-On, which will be integrated across WebAdvisor in Summer 2022.
