The Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) System is Now Live
The SIS Refresh team is excited to announce the successful launch of the Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM) system. The CIM system was launched in June 2022 and is being actively used by the University of Guelph community to support the proposals and approvals of course and program changes. The community is engaging deeply with the software system already, with over 300 course or program proposals started in the system during its first two months in operation.
As the software has been rolled out, the CIM implementation team has been seeking feedback from the campus community. To date, users have provided the following feedback regarding the system:
- “This is a game changer”
- “The system is straight forward and intuitive”
- “Love the workflow”
- "All curriculum proposals are streamlined creating an efficient process”
- “The historical record feature is exciting”
- “The CIM system makes curriculum changes much more pleasant and easy to tackle”
To support the success of the rollout, the implementation team has been busy providing a wide variety of training sessions to the community. All resources and training materials for the community are available within a Courseleaf Teams site, and the team will continue to provide updated resources and training sessions to the community throughout the fall.
Visit the CIM homepage for further information on the system and to access the various forms and modules associated with the system. Feedback and questions can be directed to courseleaf@uoguelph.ca.
