Established by the Department to honour retiring members of the department. This tribute began with Samuel Sidlofsky who retired in 1991, and now also honours Wayne Thompson, retired in 1992, E.A. (Nora) Cebotarev, a 1993 retiree and Ted Hadwen, who retired in1994. Apply by April 1 to the Department of Sociology and Anthropology Awards Committee Chair with a resume and letter outlining service involvements.
Students graduating in June or who graduated in the previous winter or fall convocations from an honours major in Sociology or Anthropology with a minimum 80% cumulative average.
