Established by the classmates, friends, and family of Kaled Salih. Kaled was a mechanical engineering student and a true engineering enthusiast. To all who knew him, Kaled was a positive presence, a great listener, and a kind friend. In his memory, this scholarship aims to support and inspire future engineers who share Kaled’s creativity, innovative spirit, and dedication to the field of engineering. Apply by September 30 with a one-page letter to the School of Engineering Awards Committee soe.undergraduateawards@uoguelph.ca summarizing experiences/work and contributions to the field of STEM at the University of Guelph or the broader community. Selection will be based on high academic standing in ENGG*1100 and the extent of experience and contributions to the field of STEM at the University of Guelph or the broader community. If there are no eligible applicants, selection will be based on the highest grade in ENG*1100. In the event of a tie, selection will be based on the highest cumulative average.
Students registered in the Bachelor of Engineering program who completed ENGG*1100 with a minimum grade of 80% in the previous academic year who have made contributions to the field of STEM at the University of Guelph or the broader community.
