Empire Communities, a leading homebuilder in Canada and the US, offers the Empire Communities Scholarship, supporting students pursuing degrees in real estate with a focus on residential real estate. This scholarship aims to inspire academic excellence and careers in real estate, reflecting Empire's commitment to fostering talent and community support. Apply by May 15 to the Marketing and Consumer Studies Awards Committee at mcsawards@uoguelph.ca with a CV and one-page letter outlining interest and experience in the residential real estate industry including but not limited to work positions, extracurricular activities, clubs, student groups, volunteer positions. Selection will be based on the most significant involvement in the residential real estate industry. This award cannot be held with the Homestead Land Holdings Prize I0629.
Students registered in the Real Estate Major of the B.Comm. program who have completed a minimum of 13.5 credits, who have a minimum 75% cumulative average, and who have demonstrated interest and involvement in the residential real estate industry through work positions, extracurricular activities, clubs, student groups, volunteer positions etc. Preference will be given to students who held leadership roles in their residential real estate involvement.
