Originally established in honour of Professor Jane Londerville’s retirement from the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies in 2014. This fund is supported by staff, faculty, and alumni of the Real Estate program, in honour of former faculty and staff, to support students travelling for their studies. Apply by November 15 or March 15 to the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies Awards Committee at mcsaward@uoguelph.ca with a one-page description of the travel including the anticipated benefits to the student’s academic and professional development and a travel budget including other funding received to support the travel opportunity. Selection will be based on the travel budget, academic achievement, and the anticipated benefits of traveling on the student’s academic and professional development. Recipients travelling outside of Canda must adhere to the University of Guelph’s Safe Travel Policy and complete the required pre-departure orientation. Students can only receive funds once.
Students registered in the Real Estate Major of the B.Comm. program who are traveling to participate in curriculum-embedded activities. Travel may include but is not limited to competing in business case competitions, traveling to participate in a semester abroad or exchange program, and/or a co-op work term. Preference will be given to students traveling outside of Ontario.
