Established by the Caledon Kennel Association to support students pursuing research in canine studies. Apply during the application process for all OVC graduate awards in January of each year. Selection will be based on academic performance (research project description, supporting letter from advisor and academic record to date).
Students registered full-time in a department of the Ontario Veterinary College who are pursuing research in canine studies. Preference will be given to students in the field of ophthalmology, but if no suitable ophthalmology candidate is identified, preference will then be given to students studying in the areas of cardiology, theriogenology, or endocrinology.
