Established in memory of the late Louise McConkey, Mac '27, one or more travel grants will be provided annually to undergraduate and/or graduate students to defray travel costs related to the student's course of study. Apply to the Marketing and Consumer Studies awards committee at mcsaward@uoguelph.ca including a budget, a description of the travel and the benefit to be gained. Selection will be based on the value of the travel to the students' studies.
Students registered full-time in a program offered by the Department of Marketing & Consumer Studies who are planning travel related to their studies, and who have acheived a minimum 70% cumulative average in the last two full-time equivalent semesters. Travel can include but not be limited to attending a conference, participating in a semester abroad or exchange program, collecting research data related to their degree requirements, attending a university student competition.
