Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 is a dynamic awards program that identifies outstanding young achievers in Canadian business, visionaries and innovators changing the way things are done. They are inspiring others and already giving back to their communities and to Canada. And every one of them is under the age of forty.

Eligibility

The nominee:

  • must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • must be 39 years of age or younger for the entire calendar year for which they are considered
  • must work in a leadership role in any size organization from the private, public or not-for-profit sectors
  • is ineligible if a professional or amateur athlete, musician, artist, or elected government official

The Advisory Board will be looking for concrete and objective evidence, of the nominee’s achievements in each of four selection criteria:

  • Vision & Innovation
  • Leadership
  • Impact & Influence
  • Social Responsibility

The ideal candidate will be active and engaged in work and community, a creative problem-solver, disciplined in performance, and generous in spirit — a real contributor to the fabric of our nation. Anyone can nominate an individual residing in Canada for consideration.

Prize

Canada's Top 40 Under 40 is an annual recognition of the exceptional achievements of 40 outstanding Canadians under the age of 40.
