Description
Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) has launched the 2019 Institute Advisory Boards (IAB) membership renewal cycle.
If you are interested in participating in the IAB, the web application forms are available online between now and April 8, 2019. Application forms submitted by April 8, 2019 will be considered for the 2019 cycle. Application forms received after the deadline will be stored in the database and considered for the next renewal cycle.
During the selection process, each Institute reviews the roster of candidates who submitted applications to determine which individuals would best fill the critical gaps created by turnover both in expertise and in re-balancing demographic criteria (sex, language, career stage, and geographic and institutional representation). The number of members on an IAB is between eight and 14. See the CIHR IAB website for the list of Institutes looking for new members.
