Description

Made possible by funding from the Fondation DRG, the CARE Sustainability in a Changing Climate Case Competition will take place on Friday, November 15th from 11am-4pm (EST).

This virtual case competition is hosted by the Munk School at the University of Toronto and teams from all four CARE partner institutions are invited to participate. Teams of 3-5 graduate students from a range of academic disciplines will be asked to develop comprehensive policy solutions to address a case challenge related to the CARE core themes of environmental sustainability, climate change, biodiversity and/or energy transitions. On the day of the event, teams will virtually present to a panel of judges drawn from public and private sectors, as well as faculty at the four institutions. The winning team will receive a prize of 500 euros and will have their policy solution published on the CARE and Munk School websites.

This competition is hosted by the U of T Munk School, and the University of Guelph can submit up to 2 teams of students.

Interested graduate students can apply by October 15, 2024, through the Team Member Application link.
