If you are interested in understanding what might be involved in working with Indigenous peoples and communities as part of your research program, this session is for you. Whether you are an Indigenous or a non-Indigenous researcher, you will gain insight into how to connect with and build responsible, reciprocal relations with Indigenous peoples and communities to engage in relevant, impactful research. Speakers will share some of their extensive experience in working with Indigenous peoples on a range of research topics, from health to the environment. Additional resources for continued self-guided learning about how to begin indigenizing your research will also be presented.
