In alignment with the University of Guelph’s 2024/2025 Holiday Closure Hours, the Research Ethics Office and RAIMSsupport@uoguelph.ca team will break for the holiday from 4:30pm on December 20, 2024, returning as of 8:30am on January 2, 2025.
Researchers are kindly asked to plan submissions accordingly as the current 8-10 week approval cycle does not include this break.

If you anticipate needing help with your ethics application during the holidays, please consider:
- Attending one of the virtual weekly Tuesday lunch hour drop-in sessions hosted by the Research Ethics office between now and the break; or,
- Reaching out to RAIMSsupport@uoguelph.ca for advance help or guidance.
Researchers can also consult the Protection of Human Participants homepage, Research Ethics FAQs, user materials on the EthOS Hub, and also find these same resources in EthOS under the ‘Help’ menu.
