Description
The 2019 Exploration Competition of the New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF) has been launched as of July 3rd, 2019. New this year, researchers at all career stages are invited to apply to the program.
This competition has three stages: a Notification of Intent to Apply (NOI) stage with a deadline of August 7th, 2019, followed by a Letter of Intent to Apply (LOI) stage with a deadline of September 4th, 2019, and an Application stage with a deadline of December 10th, 2019. The Tri-agency Institutional Programs Secretariat (TIPS),on behalf of SSHRC, CIHR, and NSERC, will be hosting webinars for applicants and research administrators at each stage.
As TIPS is anticipating a very high level of interest in the funding opportunity and, consequently, the webinars (which have limited capacity), the Office of Research Services will be hosting an open session to view the NOI-stage webinar. We invite any researchers who are interested in applying to this program to attend this in-person viewing of the webinar. If you are unable to attend in person, we would recommend you log-in directly Please note, the content covered in each of the two English sessions will be the same.
