In early 2025, NSERC’s Alliance Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Outreach team offered a presentation on EDI considerations in the Alliance Training Plan for applicants. The interactive session focused on the importance of EDI in the research team, consideration of EDI in the Alliance application, and how to write a strong statement regarding EDI in the training plan. Clear examples were discussed and guidelines on how NSERC would review each example were shared.
