The deadline for submitting the Notification of Intent to Apply (NOI) for a Discovery Grant or Subatomic Physics Grant to NSERC has been extended to Wednesday August 2^nd at 8 PM (ET) due to technical difficulties with the Research Portal. NSERC is continuing to monitor the situation.

Reminder – NOIs must be received at NSERC by this deadline date. Late NOIs will not be accepted.

What is Research Alerts?

Research Alerts is a communications technology that allows UoG faculty, staff and students to stay up to date on news from the Office of Research. Through Research Alerts, subscribers receive emails related to research funding opportunities, workshops and events, policies and more. Each subscriber sets individual preferences to indicate the topics and categories of information that are of interest to them. When a message (Alert) is published in the Office of Research that matches the subscriber's selected preference categories and topics, it is e-mailed directly to the subscriber. Because this is a web-based technology, the Research Alerts site can also be searched using the search fields, or browsed through the topics by category.
