Ontario Together: help fight Coronavirus

Given recent events surrounding the spread of COVID-19 across Ontario, the Ontario government is reaching out to experts in research and innovation across the province regarding an opportunity to team up and be a part of the solution in battling COVID-19.

Ontario is home to world class research, innovative industries and solution-oriented businesses. The Government of Ontario is calling on you to offer solutions that meet the evolving challenges in ideas, supplies, goods and services related to the COVID-19 response.

The new Ontario Together portal, will identify specific supply challenges faced by our healthcare system and front-line workers and solicit proposals from Ontario research, business and manufacturing communities on how they could help battle COVID-19. The government will review all submissions and work with selected participants to procure made-in-Ontario solutions.

Across the province, each one of us has a role to play in keeping our communities safe and healthy. Through Ontario Together the government is ensuring the needs of our sectors and communities can be met quickly and efficiently in a rapidly changing environment.

If you believe your institution, company and/or facilities have the capacity to provide innovative solutions to the province, you are encouraged to submit a proposal through the portal. Please do not hesitate to contact Chris Scott at chris.scott@ontario.ca for more information.

Thank you for your support and cooperation during this challenging time. The Government of Ontario looks forward to receiving your proposals on how best to meet the evolving needs related to the COVID-19 response.
