Description

On-Farm Biosecurity is crucial to ensuring the health of your plants and/or animals.

OSCIA’s Biosecurity Workshops and Webinars are a great place to learn about on-farm biosecurity risks and begin developing a biosecurity program for your farm. These are commodity-specific opportunities and offered as a one-day, in-person workshop, or as two, 2-hour webinars. During the workshop or webinar, a technical expert will show you the benefits of having an on-farm biosecurity program and help you to identify key practices to enhance biosecurity measures and mitigate risks. The workshop provides farmers the opportunity to interact with a Certified Crop Advisor, veterinarian, or other commodity-specific expert.

Workshops and webinars are open to new and established producers. Farm families and management teams are encouraged to attend together. Taking a workshop or webinar is a first step in creating a biosecurity plan for your farm and identifying gaps in current practices that could be putting your farm at risk of pests and/or disease.
