Skills for Research Impact is a workshop series for University of Guelph faculty, research staff and graduate students interested in enhancing the impact of their research. Participants will learn how to successfully plan, execute and evaluate knowledge mobilization activities.

Join us online this fall for one or multiple sessions! The series continues on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 1-2:30 pm with a workshop on Digital Storytelling for Research Communication. During this workshop, participants will be introduced to the  components, elements and benefits of digital storytelling, and participate in activities to help them develop an idea for communicating their own research with Digital Storytelling methods.

Upon the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • List components of a Digital Story.
  • Identify how elements of storytelling are employed to create effective research communication.
  • Communicate your stories using different images and media.
