Description
The Steacie Prize is an award of $10,000 presented once a year to a scientist or engineer of 40 years of age or less for outstanding scientific research carried out in Canada. It is completely separate from the NSERC Steacie Fellowships.
"The E.W.R. Steacie Prize was an unexpected, but delightful, surprise for doing what I enjoy best doing... scientific research. It gave me the confidence (and courage) at a young age to forge the career I have today, and it helped open doors along the way."
