Please join the exciting and informative session hosted by Agri-food Data Canada (ADC) at the University of Guelph. Discover how ADC is helping to make agri-food data more FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) by joining them on a tour of the Semantic Engine tools, Ontario Dairy and Beef Research Centre data portals, and ways to find University of Guelph agri-food data sources using Canadian data platforms.

What is Research Alerts?

Research Alerts is a communications technology that allows UoG faculty, staff and students to stay up to date on news from the Office of Research. Through Research Alerts, subscribers receive emails related to research funding opportunities, workshops and events, policies and more. Each subscriber sets individual preferences to indicate the topics and categories of information that are of interest to them. When a message (Alert) is published in the Office of Research that matches the subscriber's selected preference categories and topics, it is e-mailed directly to the subscriber. Because this is a web-based technology, the Research Alerts site can also be searched using the search fields, or browsed through the topics by category.
