Description
The SSHRC Institutional Grant (SIG) guidelines and application materials have been revised in response to feedback from the university community. In summary:
- SIG materials have been revised to better align with how the University of Guelph intends to use SIG funding, i.e. to incent future applications to external SSHRC competitions
- Application forms have been simplified
- For Travel Grants, there will now be four competition deadlines per year, and each competition intake now relates to specific dates of proposed travel
- For General Research Grants, the evaluation criteria are now consistent with SSHRC's Insight Development Grant program
Revised guidelines, application checklist, application form, and budget template are now available for applicants planning to submit in the May 1, 2016 Travel Grant competition.
