Description
Ontario Pork is pleased to announce a call for Letters of Intent (LOI) for pig and pork research projects that focus on Ontario production and the Ontario swine industry. They are requesting letters of intent with a focus on research that will lead to the following outcomes: Achieving a reproductive efficiency target of 30+ pigs weaned/sow/year, Improvements in feed efficiency, Reduction of phosphorus losses into the environment, and New innovative health approaches to the current use of antibiotics. Highest priority and consideration will be given to research proposals and projects that address these outcomes. Other submissions addressed in the Ontario Pork Industry Priorities and Outcome Report will be considered.

PI’s are to submit their Letter of Intent directly to the sponsor at porkletters@livestockresearch.ca by midnight Thursday December 17, 2015.
