CANSSI Ontario Data Access Grants [1]
Description
These grants cover costs associated with accessing and working with large data sources, such as the UK Biobank [2], which are necessary to carry out data-intensive research and application. The purpose of these grants is to foster research by mitigating the high cost of access to many data sets.
Eligibility
Trainees or faculty members at Ontario-based universities are eligible to apply. Each proposal must include two faculty members from different academic units including from different departments, divisions, faculties, or affiliated research institutes.
Eligible costs include costs associated with:
- accessing data
- storing data
- quality assurance of data

Internal Deadline | Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, until two grants have been funded in a given academic year. Please submit a copy of your application, budget, and signed OR-5 to research.services@uoguelph.ca [3], a minimum of one week prior to your intended submission date. |
