Description

Mitacs Globalink invites you to the upcoming Globalink Orientation Session, a two-part event on Tuesday, October 24^th 2017. The session will be held in Montreal, and will also be accessible via web session.

The event will consist of two stand-alone parts. Participants can choose to attend one or both parts of the session. Participants can choose to attend either part 1 or part 2 of the session, or they can choose to attend both parts.

PART 1: An overview of Globalink initiatives (1–2:15 p.m. ET)

Globalink overview and introduction to Globalink initiatives, including:
- Globalink Research Internship
- Globalink Graduate Fellowship
- Globalink Research Award
- Globalink Partnership Award
- Globalink Early Career Fellowship
- Mitacs-JSPS Summer Programme
- RISE-Globalink Research Internship

PART 2: Updates on these initiatives, your feedback on program implementation, and an open discussion (2:30 –4 p.m. ET)

Topics for discussion will include:
- Globalink initiative updates and recent changes
  - Globalink Research Award – process changes and new partner countries
  - Globalink Partnership Award – new partner countries for inbound
  - Globalink Research Internship – process changes for student fee coverage
- Promotional tools for the Globalink Research Award
- Immigration process for inbound Globalink programs
