Description
The Morris Animal Foundation is now accepting proposals for Established Investigator, First Award, Fellowship Training and Pilot Study grants on topics relevant to equine colic. The mission of the Morris Animal Foundation is to bridge science and resources to advance the health of animals.
Research proposals are invited on the topic of equine colic, must be focused on the intestinal tract, and must address one or more of the following areas:
- Risk factors
- Prevention or early detection
- Feeding and nutrition
- Pathophysiology
Please note: studies that involve surgical models and/or are terminal will not be accepted. Morris Animal Foundation are not accepting proposals on other topics (including resubmissions) under this Request for Proposals.
Maximum Project Value

How to Apply
Applications must be submitted through the Morris Animal Foundation Submission site [2]. All applicants are required to register by creating a login at this site. The individual submitting the application must be the Applicant/Principal Investigator. Applications must be received by 4:59 PM ET on the designated due date.
