Description
The Nova Scotia Museum Research Grant Program, administered by the museum's board of governors, annually contributes funding toward research projects that improve Nova Scotians' understanding of heritage or offer a different interpretation of the province's cultural history. Results from the research can generate artifacts and specimens for the provincial collections.
All, or most, of the research must be carried out in Nova Scotia or involve specimens or artifacts of Nova Scotia origin. Studies which are collections-based and/or increase knowledge of the cultural and natural environment in Nova Scotia will be considered.

Individual researchers only
Maximum Project Value
The grant will be valued at not more than $4,000.00 (Canadian). The grant may be combined with other funding sources supporting the project.

To be considered, the application must include all information and materials specified in the Terms of Reference and the Project Submission Format [1]. Each proposal will only be considered under one category, as specified when submitted.
