Round 8 of the Ontario Research Fund – Research Excellence (ORF-RE) competition has been launched by the Ministry of Research and Innovation.  The Office of Research is hosting an information session for interested applicants with Ministry personnel. The ORF-RE program promotes research excellence of strategic value in Ontario by supporting new leading-edge, transformative, and internationally significant research. The ORF-RE will typically contribute $1M - $4m towards approved research project to a maximum of 1/3 of the total project costs, with 1/3 of the remainder coming from the applicant's institution(s) and 1/3 from the private sector.  For more information, contact sbates@uoguelph.ca.
