Promote and share your research using PowToon
Led by Melanie Parlette-Stewart, MLIS, Blended Learning Librarian
Did you know you can use video to increase awareness of your research? Join us to learn how to create short, animated videos that can be uploaded to YouTube, shared on social media, or embedded in other websites, such as a research website or blog.
This workshop introduces attendees to the best practices for creating short, animated videos using PowToon, a free online tool. Tips and tools for making short, engaging and accessible videos will be provided. You'll learn how to write a script, storyboard your video, develop visuals, add audio, make sure it's accessible and publish your video.
You must bring a laptop in order to participate.

10:45 am – 12 noon Hands On, Make Your Own Video
