Description
The Developmental Services (DS) Research Grant Fund was created in 2012 to support research and innovative initiatives for the DS sector. A competitive call for proposals was used to select six projects for funding. This is the second call for research proposals on three particular topics.
- Funding approaches and practices.
- Service Models for complex needs clients.
- Employment.

Eligibility
Applicants may be researchers from academic or community based institutions. Collaborative research projects between community and academic partners are encouraged.
Funding Availability
The fund will support a maximum of $400,000 across all funded projects. Projects are eligible for varying amounts of funding based on the complexity of the project, the number of research questions identified, the duration of the project and the type of research.

Project Duration
May be either short term - less than one year, or larger projects - up to two years.
