Project Scheme 2016 1st Live Pilot – U of G Internal Notice of Intent (NOI)Description
Registrations for the Project Scheme 2016 1st Live Pilot will be accepted between November 16, 2015 and January 18, 2016. The University of Guelph wishes to improve its performance in CIHR competitions relative to recent years, and accordingly, is taking steps well ahead of the competition to plan and strategize for the best chances of success. In order to plan effectively, the Office of Research Services, along with college-level administrators (Associate Deans Research, College Research Managers) ask researchers to submit a U of G Internal Notice of Intent (NOI) (see below under “How to apply”). Although submission of an NOI is not mandatory, researchers are greatly encouraged to do so as a means of taking part in an institutional effort to develop more competitive applications. This effort includes arranging for external reviews of applications at the college-level.
Eligibility
In addition to meeting CIHR’s eligibility criteria, applicants must hold a faculty position at the University of Guelph for the term of the grant, e.g. regular full-time, contractually-limited, or adjunct.
Maximum Project Value
Based on historical modeling, it is expected that most Project grant budget requests will fall within a range of $50,000 to $750,000 per annum. Project grant funding levels will be commensurate with need, which is expected to vary by research field, research approach, and scope of project activities.
Indirect Costs
0%
Project Duration
One (1) to five (5) years.
