Discovery Grants – Northern Research SupplementsFor More Information
Description
The Discovery Grants Northern Research Supplements (NRS) Program has been established to help augment and promote Canadian university-based northern research and training. The main purpose of the NRS is to recognize the added logistical costs unique to conducting research in Canada’s north. The NRS is aimed at NSERC-funded researchers who intend to conduct research in Canada’s north. Researchers must apply for Northern Research Supplement at the time they make their Discovery Grant application. Note, however, that the applications are separate and so are the systems they are submitted on.
