Description

This call aims to support the use of the latest cutting-edge innovations to accelerate the development of new vaccines against livestock diseases.
The call seeks proposals that are adopting highly innovative biotechnologies to generate rapid vaccine development and testing platforms. Innovations proposed for the research will significantly accelerate the Research and Development (R&D) of vaccines for livestock smallholders.
Eligibility
This call is open to applicants from research-focused organizations from academia, private sector and research institutes from around the world.

The proposed research focuses on vaccine development for one or more of the eligible livestock diseases of the LVIF as specified in Annex 1.
Funding Availability
Up to eight (8) research projects of up to a maximum of CA$ 1,500,000 each.

Applicant organizations will be pre-qualified based on the criteria outlined in the Prospectus and supporting application documents. Successful applicant organizations will be expected to oversee and deliver capacity-strengthening activities that correspond to the initiative's objectives. These objectives will be achieved through various activities such as customized regional training courses and workshops, regional forums, online training, individualized on-site coaching, and collaborative research.
