Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is the major federal agency responsible for funding health research in Canada. It aims to excel in the creation of new health knowledge, and to translate that knowledge from the research setting into real world applications.
Minimum Processing Time
In general, internal deadlines for CIHR grant competitions are one (1) week prior to the external deadline posted by CIHR.

Application Instructions
Please include a signed OR-5 form [2] with your CIHR application to the Office of Research for signatures one week in advance of the CIHR deadline specified.
