Chrysididae means Emerald wasp
It is often difficult to comprehend the beauty of an insect. They come in many different shapes and forms. This beauty I am holding is commonly known as an Emerald wasp (Order: Hymenoptera, Family: Chrysididae). This insect family is often highly sculptured , with brilliant metallic colours created by structural colouration. Structural colouration is caused by interference effects rather than by pigments.
